LABORATÓRIO DE DESIGN AVANÇADO has a broad scope of activity, and its purpose is to promote national and international cooperation between companies, public administration bodies, university and non-university institutions and public and private laboratories, through the collaborative exercise of Research & Development of trends, products, materials and added-value solutions, through concepts, projects, models, prototypes, tests and trials, to support and encourage companies to increase their value. In short, its mission is to collaborate with companies, institutions and educational centres to form consortiums for innovative PROJECTS, specialised design and engineering TRAINING, and influential FORUMS - guiding future businesses toward successful futures.
